From July 8th to July 9th, the Luxembourg Sharks Swimming Club's Elite group participated in the Luxembourg National Championship. Guided by the esteemed coach Jabrane Touili, a total of 10 talented swimmers represented the club with exceptional skill and determination.
The results of the championships were nothing short of impressive, with the swimmers delivering outstanding performances and achieving a remarkable tally of 16 personal bests. Their hard work and dedication paid off as they earned a total of 14 medals, including five gold, six silver, and one bronze.
One standout swimmer among the Elite group is Oscar Schons, a true product of the club's training program. Oscar successfully met the challenge by achieving the B qualifying time set by the Luxembourg Swimming Federation. With an impressive time of 4'36"10 in the 400m freestyle event, Schons demonstrated his exceptional talent and ability to rise to the occasion.
Similar to the success seen in the Poussin category, the Minimes category also boasts two swimmers who show great potential. Mira Pavelek (born in 2010) and Oscar Schons (born in 2009) have demonstrated their talent and determination, leaving no doubt that they are ones to watch for the future.
The exceptional achievements of the Luxembourg Sharks Swimming Club's Elite group at the national summer championship reflect their talent, dedication, and the guidance provided by Coach Jabrane Touili. Their outstanding performances bring great pride to the club and serve as an inspiration to swimmers of all ages.
We eagerly anticipate the continued growth and success of all our swimmers as they strive for greatness in future competitions, ensuring a bright future for the Luxembourg Sharks Swimming Club.
